Taylor and Andrew’s couples photos at Crouching Lion in Oahu were so special! And spoiler alert: their love story is straight out of a rom-com.

The Backstory
Taylor and Andrew originally met in Guam, while Andrew was in the military. He had broken his leg, and she was actually the nurse that treated him at the hospital. It’s a classic story straight out of a movie, I told you!! But nothing came of that – it was brief, and they didn’t remember each other.
They actually connected later on at a beach bar, when he approached her and they realized where they originally met! They started dating during COVID, and since he still had a broken leg, there wasn’t really much to do. But they made the best of it and that’s where their story began! They spent allll their time together after they met.
Next thing you know, they eloped to Guam and made it official!

The Session at Crouching Lion
So Taylor and Andrew were already married when we did their post-wedding session at Crouching Lion in Oahu. Post-wedding sessions are some of my favorites – they allow you to get back into your wedding gear if you want to (or wear something else!) and just ADVENTURE. They’re especially great if you had a larger wedding and want more photos of just the two of you away from crowds and soaking it all in again together.
Crouching Lion is one of my favorite spots in Oahu – and it’s not hard to see why!! The sun peeked through the clouds for us that night to give us the most stunning lighting for these two. The water was blue as ever, and the white dress that Taylor wore made her stand out perfectly! (Yes, you can totally wear a white dress for your engagement or post-wedding session if you want to!!) We ended the evening with the softest light as the clouds came back – it almost looked foggy!
Taylor and Andrew were total naturals in front of the camera and I’m SO happy for all that’s happened for them this past year. Enjoy this beautiful session!!
